Indiana Thunderstruck Raceway Phone: 765-471-6088 Thunderstruck Raceway Park is located next door to the hobby store. It is approx. 150 foot drive line, RC dirt oval track. It is Indiana dirt with little to no bank. There are beginner, intermediate, and expert classes. Races are on Wednesday and Saturday evenings. Full hobby shop on site. Iowa Brinks Speedway Phone: 563-419-3949 Brinks Speedway is located 10 miles East of Decorah, Iowa on highway 9, at the Jason Brink residence. Brinks Speedway is a hard packed slightly banked indoor dirt oval. It is well maintained and watered regularly. The straight-aways are approx. 32' long and the centerline is approx. 115'. Racing begins in mid October and runs through March. We race on Saturdays alternating the start time from 1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. We race a ten week point series starting the first Tuesday of January, racing begins at 6:00 p.m. Brinks Speedway uses AMB scoring, but personal transponders are not supported. The track usually has really good bite, but kind of loosens up a little as the day goes on. Rubber tires with a small pin seam to work well. Foam tires also hook up well and traction compound is allowed (check rules to see which classes allow foam tires). There is a concession stand that serves hot food as well as candy and pop. There is a bathroom and electricity is available in the pit area.
