i have had a few questions concerning how the points are distributed.. this is the flyer that was on display at tour stop #1.
Overall Standings After Mains
Top 10 come from the 'A' Main

Clarifications:
Total points are all of the event points and bonus points added with the lowest event total being dropped. Double points events cannot be dropped.
Appearance points are bonus points for racers who compete at the event. These points are not dropped from your total. 20 bonus points are awarded to drivers registered for series by June 7th. You must be registered to collect any bonus points.
The Gas Sprint Nationals in Monee, Illinois is the only double points event. Since this event is two separately scored races over two days, the total for each day is added together to get the 'double' points.The USAC non-wing total will be added to the Outlaw day total.
