I just wanted to let everyone know that Ray's season opener keeps getting rained out so the season opener is scheduled for this Friday night May 23. We are also racing on Sunday May 25 with practice starting at 4:00 p.m. and racing starting at 6:00 p.m. to try and make up some of the rain-outs. All the regular classes edm, sprint and open class will be running. With a holiday on monday maybe some New York guys could come down and get a race in to prepare for the WDRA race here. Thanks, Jim

Sunday sounds good to me. I enjoyed running there last year. Is the track still sand or did they resurface it?

Yes the track was resurfaced with clay. I was just there last night for a work party and we rolled the track for a while and it is really smooth. It should be really fast and alot of fun. I got to run my open car some and had a blast running it--can't wait for this weekend. Hopefully we will get friday and sunday in this weekend. Thanks, Jim
