Captain,
I know this has been asked already, but I haven't seen what I'm looking for. There is quite an assortment of bodies available for the tc3. Is there a set of specs for a "wedge body". Is there a maximum width , length and height? Are non wedge type bodies acceptable? Are road racing bodies and nascar bodies ok?

junior- before you listen to what others write, I would suggest that you ask bruce or walt.
they only list 4wd wedge on their flyer- they don't have anything else in writing as far as I know, that is why I suggested to people to look at roar rules for the dimensions of the side dam .It was a starting point and as far as I know, nothing has been decided yet.

side dam will not exceed 11 inches from the ground and 14 inches in length! I won't push down on the car to make it legal so make sure yours doesn't exceed the limit or I'll throw out your run!
The dimensions are shown on page 67 of the 2003 roar rules.
I am not going to measure from the body up- roar uses 5 1/2 inches. I am only going to measure from the ground to the top of the side dam ( 11 inches). And don't let the side dam extend past the molded part of the body, the maximum length of the side dam is 14 inches!!
The top of the side dam must be securely fastened to the opposite side of the body at the front and rear of the side dam.
That is what we are using. If anyone has any questions just call Walt's hobby and ask for Bruce or Todd.
Open motors , so bring out the mods and have some fun!!
