Race No. 3 & 4 on the Dirtoval.com Nitro Sprint Tour..
rules for those interested in running nitro classes at Fingerlakes Raceway ....these are the rules governing this race only. Each tour stop follows that particular track's rules.
1/10th scale nitro sprint rules
.12 or .15 engines only (no big-block .15 engines, i.e. serpent mega .15)
tuned pipes are ok (no internal moving parts … i.e. no CVEC pipes)
6 x 6 max top wing
front wing allowed 2 x 3 max
wheelbase 9.5” to 11” max
track width 10”max
min wt 3 ¼ lbs
foam tires only
1/10th scale nitro EDM rules
.12 or .15 engines (no big-block .15 engines, i.e. serpent mega .15)
tuned pipes are ok (no internal moving parts … i.e. no CVEC pipes)
wheelbase 9.5” to 11.5” max
track width 13”max
foam tires only
min wt 3 ½ lbs
EDM bodies are not to be wider than 8 ½”
Side damns may not exceed roof line. 1 1/2" max rear spoiler.
