all 18 cars ran double features, 6 cars at a time as determined by a single heat race, then the car from each of the 3 features with the best lap run in either of their two features, got a spot

so terry was the highest lap car in his feature, jimmy rufiange was the highest in his feature, and tom gebhart was the highest lap car in his feature

"This will be a Qualifier with the top 2 drivers from the A & B mains being able to pick your team driver and quaranteed a starting spot in the 600 lap event."...i thought it was 2 from each main?...at least thats what was advertised earlier by Tom G.

i guess that's a big problem when you get so many cars out to run an outdoor race on a wed. night in september, if we only had of had two mains last night ,to give everyone a shot at a spot, then there would have been two 9 car mains......sounds like alotta fun..........maybe next week................

wally- what famous person once said......"just when you think you know the answers, we change the questions"?

As I arrived home last night, I grabbed some Captain Crunch cereal to munch on. Do you realize if you put the name George in the Cap't Crunch Secret Decoder Ring, it decodes to "rotten hack"?

I thought that was interesting.

I would think that someone that lives to the north and a little west would say some thing like that......and might have a queen?

Sorry guys I underestimated the amount of cars showing up on You guessed it 9/11. But all drivers will still have a change of a Qualifier. Billy and I are working on it to make it fair for all. Next week we will try the same format again with 3 more Qualifiers coming 1 from each set of features. Then we will still have a Non- qualifier event and take 4 more out of a single night event. After we get the qualifier name and team drivers listed we may bump up a 3rd place driver from each night of qualifing. Next week we will have a meeting at track side to better explain all questions. In all 20 drivers will make it to the "600" (10 Teams) also on the day of the 600 we will have a regular race format for the non 600 drivers. Stay tuned and bare with us till we get this fine tuned. Thanks for all of the support on Wed nite and we will be open this Sun even at 630pm for open practice and fine tuning. the track will be under lights and watered.

If youre gonna post news somewhere else...at least type it in your own words!

I think I'm gonna run Latham on Monday, so I'll probably skip the "high-banks" on Wed.
