Congrats to Jr.
Yes, the crowd was sparse, but quality (2 past track champions were in the A). By the way also a special congrats to the guys who traveled from downstate on Wednesdays to run (both ran very well in an action packed B-main; Pete Z. winning)
At least we didn't have to permanently lock the steering to make it around.
I always thought speed was inherent with the term "racing". Apparently more people prefer constant turning, and no straightaway speed (or are afraid of it). To each his own. Congrats to all who ran both the regular Competition track and the infield version.

Is this race limited to above average drivers or can anyone run stock? Even though I'll probably make the Z main if I run, the heats should be fun. LOL

Gee, I hope they're not stacking the heats, I felt pretty comfortable with Jr's backup ride last night. I might even consider all offers to provide blocking services on saturday. yeeee haaa! I might still salvage some fun from this dirt season. http://www.dirtoval.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
