Many thanks to Tom and Billy for a terrific September. Even though there is a race next Wednesday, it's time to call it quits for me. Best of luck to everyone in the "600"!!!

Thanks for the GREAT turnout for Wed Qualifiers. There will be a Non- Qualifiers race 6 mins for all mains next Wed. We are planning a Sun Oct 6th event after we all attend the Fulton race on Sat. If we get a rain out we will reschedule on the Last Sun in Oct. In any event MSR would like to close the season on Sun Oct 27th with a 100 lap fall championship race. The weather will be great. Its been a great season with all drivers turning some very FAST LAPS at ModStock. I hope to see all of you next week. Any driver attending over 50 miles will be a free entry. Just let Billy know when signing in.

So if I live 4 miles away do I have to pay double...or even triple?

Technically, Terry, you are 12.5 times closer than the 50 mile limit. Therefore, by "Rupert Math", if anyone over 50 miles is free, you pay 12.5 times that.

12.5 x 0 = well, what do you know...0!

Pretty fair entry fee, I'd say.

Of course we take bribbs such as a new motor slipped to the owner or to the race director. Heck I would even take a new or old battery from you TOP GUNS. Bribbs are the American way.

ModStock will probably try a little different format this wed. each driver will run 2 heats and set up features with each driver running only one 6 min feature. We may use a Bump up system if we have a large turnout. The fastest 2 drivers for the night will be the Qualifiers. For the drivers who are qualified please select your choice of team mate and e-mail billy or modstockraceway@aol.com let us know your team and freq with a alterate freq. for each driver. I hope most qualifiers will pick one of the drivers that have run here as there team mate. We will be annoucing the last position as a promoters choice giving us a 10 team starting field. For all of the drivers that are not running the "600" event you are still invited to come and race a regular program with features on Sun Oct 6th. Track will open at 10am with racing at NOON. If any of the teams do not show we will invite drivers that attend that sunday to run in the 600. I hope all drivers understand ModStock will run the 600 in twin 300 lap races. with a time to repair or recharge as needed. Most teams will need only 2 or 3 pit stops in each 300. Assuming most drivers will have at least 3 batteries all should run well.Good luck to all teams. We will publish teams as they come in.EDM cars only.

Jeff, why do you need marshalls when you will have 10 guys standing around waiting to race? Maybe we will have to marshall our own team cars.
