By the way, as the resident short track disliker, I find it quite hard to say this, but it appeared everyone had a real good time last night, even with me there. However, I did wonder where the masses of short track espousers were last night to support the series. Talk appears to be cheap. The track was soaked from the weekend so it had to be worked on before they raced, so comparing TQs is not worth crap. Yes, it is true. I once again displayed my gross inability to actually win a race this year. I have to give Jr credit though...somehow he actually managed to get in less wrecks than I did, in what was the most brutal race that Ive been in in a long time. I dont remember the last time I made more than 3 competitive passes on the outside. There must have been at least 10 laps between TQ and LQ. In my defense, I did make up a lap and was closing in when a post wreck excursion through the infield caused me to miss the loop!

So, the proverbial "Blind Squirrel" found the proverbial "Nut" last night. Speaking of going blind.....between rounds, Jr was sporting his right arm in a sling! Tennis elbow??? I dont think so....more like "roughing up the suspect" elbow! LOL!! On the bright side, Al Sr assured me that, in an effort to prevent his son from injuring himself any further, he will be equipping his home PC w/ a "Net Nanny"!!! LMAO!!!!

I didn't question the the TQ laps, you did.
Jr. wins and you demean it by questioning the laps.
You are right, I don't know as much as you about these cars, but I try to learn. Anyone who is willing to put $1,000 on a rc car race needs to get his priorities straight.
By the way, when was the last time Jr. or I krapped on any of your many wins (never if anyone's counting). In fact we used to praise them. I think you need to chill out before no one's left for you to race against.

okay lets lay this down right now, the track was horrible, i turned a 43 4:02, eith two wrecks in the heats i should have had at least a 44, the fastest lap i saw was a 5.3 which bulldog ran in the second heat, mine being a 5.4. If i didnt have 4 pounds of mud on my car maybe i could have run faster. If you could have run a 50 on that track with 7 cars and the kind of traffic, more power to ya, otherwise quit your bitchin. If you thought that u could have next time you`ll zip the mouth and bring it. Also you have to think about this, after running with me and sr, would your car be running after 30 laps??????? http://www.dirtoval.com/ubb/confused.gif

Apparently, if you rub something other than a magic lamp, wishes will still come true...right Alvin? I wish I could win, I wish I could win...even a short track race! And alas, Alvin's wish was put into motion. Without Peek, Alvin had a chance to win. Wally hasn't been himself lately, so he might be able to pull off a win. Luck must "rub off" on even Little Al once in a while.

Alvin, the next time your "Little Genie" pops up, ask it these two questions:

1) If Schmitt, Peek, Gruel, Alivero, and Little Alvin Mostek had a grudge race on the Latham short track...who would finish last?
