Dixons rc is in hazard ky ... They been running indoor off road for a few years now . They put an outdoor oval track in to see how it goes ... They hav a nice indoor track that could be converted to an oval if things go well ... Hazard ky is a central location that could bring racers together from tenn area also pa and ohio ... maybe va ... They hav a system setup for no smoke in the building when running nitro ... Im hoping jeff does the switch to oval so we can give it a shot ... Theirs a money race sept 25 th ....anyone thinking of making it :thumbsup: This could be the beginning of a good thing .... Ive only heard good things about this place .... If we could show jeff dixon a good showing for outdoor oval ....Maybe an indoor oval could be in our furture ... I think this place is big enough to draw a BIG race event .... :checkeredflag:

Bob, the talk as far as an indoor oval is a vary real option. The off-road has suffered this summer. I do believe that next summer we may be trying the indoor oval. As for this winter, racing will be an indoor off-road track. I think there will be an excellent turn out for the Sept 25th money race and I am looking forward to running that event for Jeff. I am also very excitied about what the dirt oval could bring to our race area so to speak. You are exactly right in your last post. We have one of the nicest facilitys on the East coast in Dixons rc raceway and it should be a gathering point for the race crowd within 2 hours. If anyone out there is wandering what the place is like, come and race. You will not be dissapointed!

I heard Ate up racing and his pit crew will be there testing a new chassis for the money race .... I also heard hes been doing alot of testing the wind tunnel .... :revs:

If anyone is wandering about the weather and if they should come, then think again! We built a dirt oval indoor for this event. Racing will happen in Hazard Ky this weekend! Get them ready boys!

The track inside has 15' lanes. It is has 10' in between the infield. It is built flat as to where the outdoor track is banked. The track outside is the main focus for this race. The indoor will only be used if it starts to rain or if it rains before we get started, so bring plenty of clutch bells to choose from.
