Just so everyone knows the race was legit from the owners stand point from the get go. Apparently there was some stuff going on behind the scenes that caused the money man to step out.
Don't change your mind just because of this. VRP Raceway is one of the best all around tracks in the southeast. You would be hard pressed to find one better. So come on out and lets sling some DIRT .

Morning bump. More information will be coming in the next day or so. This is a first class facility with plenty of parking and power for your pits. Driver's Lounge inside the building and showers for the overnight campers. This track is wide and long. Lots of room for racing. The facility is sitting on 11 acres of racing space so parking is not a problem. Some parking can be done on the pavement for trailers. They have an FM receiver so that you can tune your radios at 89.1 and listen to all of the action. My suggestion if you like banana pudding this place has banana pudding that is awesome. They will have the usual track food as well. I have never been to a place where they have so many spectators. The last time I was there, I bet there were 50 spectators enjoying the races. It was pretty cool. So try to make plans to come and enjoy this place as much as I have.

Frazier Construction adds $200 to the purse.
Cold Fusion Fuels will be donating some race prizes also.
With the addition of Backlash Racecars putting up $400 that is a total of $600 of extra cash along with the 50% payback. C&M Race bodies will have some bodies donated. VRP Hobbies is working on the local radio station for possibly a live broadcast. They also have worked on some other race prizes from some of the local area food places. I know everyone likes food. VRP would like for you to register on the RC Signup page so it will make it easier to get everyone signed up in the computer instead of having to do it all on raceday. There could also be a possible visit from some Nascar people with the Atlanta race being on the same weekend. He has made a few calls and he knows some of them. Come on down to a very nice facility. They are new to the dirtoval scene but not to RC. The local races are ran very well and smoothly. They do know how to run a big show with the RC Pro Series off-road events that were done in the past. Lets get as many oval racers that we can to show them how the oval guys get it done.
