Come and Join us for two exciting nights of racing

Friday July 16th
Full show as a warm up for the main event
Hot laps start at 6, Racing at 7
3 rounds of heats
$20 first car, $10 second car, $5 third car

1/8 Pro Late Model
1/8 Sportsman Late Model
1/10 Nitro EDM
Nitro Sprint
Electric Sprint
If there’s enough of anything else we can run them too.

Trophies for winners Friday night

The track will be open for practice after the race Friday night and from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday.

Rules for this event:

Joplin RC Speedway Rules and Regulations and general information.

Track Owner: Terry Beckham II (417)-438-0976

The track has a 240 ft run line on the progressive banking.
The racing surface is 15 ft wide with smooth inner and outer walls.

Search youtube.com for "Joplin RC Speedway". There are a variety videos posted that show the facility and some racing action.

Joplin RC Speedway is located 2.5 miles North of Highway 96 on Highway 43 in Missouri. Highway 43 is Main Street in Joplin

Address: 24980 Magnolia Ln, Webb City, MO 64870

JRCS is family operated with family atmosphere

Full service concession stand at all events
No alcohol served or allowed

Grandstands for a great view of the action

Porta Johns provided
Electricity, water and air provided in pit area
Complete lighting around the racing surface
Large parking area

Please use the waste barrels for your trash

All employees and owners of the speedway are not responsible for accidents.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone
All decisions concerning cars and rules will be made by the Race Promoter, Track Owner, or the Race Director and those decisions will be final.

These rules are subject to change. Please check back regularly.

1/10 Nitro Modified (EDM) rules:

Molded or folded Lexan style bodies
No full length side dams. (half length ok)
3" rear spoiler max
Front spoiler must fit between front tires. Side winglets 2" max.


Nitro Sprint and Electric Sprint rules:

Same rules as used by the Ultimate Racing League


1/8 Scale Pro Late Model rules:

Any 1/8 scale 4WD style (buggy style) car
Aluminum chassis plate only. Must be OEM or of similar type.
Single engine cars only.
Engine must remain in a central area (within 2.5") of the center line of the car and in original mounting location
Fuel tank must remain in a central area (within 2.5") of the center line of the car and in original mounting location
Any shock
Any shock tower
OEM fluid filled 6 gear differential in front and rear (solid center spool ok)
One way bearings are not permitted anywhere in the drivetrain.
Tires must be: Losi DLM2.
No grooving or siping
Tire softener permitted
Bodies must be full width of car and full length of car.
Bodies must resemble current "Late Model" car styles and designs.
Bodies must be molded
3" maximum rear spoiler when measured from rear deck. (Total height not to exceed 9" when measured from top of spoiler to ground.)
Spoiler sides up to 2.25" x 4" allowed. Maximum of 3 across rear of deck.



1/8 Scale Sportsman Late Model rules

This is a Rookie Class designed keep the competition close.
The main dividing line between Pro and Sportsman is intended to be driver ability, not equipment.

Sportsman Late Model cars must conform to the Pro Late Model rules except:
Tires GRP or DLM2 tires are allowed in this class.

41 lap max in this class.
If you run over 41 laps in any heat race you will be disqualified and bumped to the Pro class.
If you run over 41 laps in a Feature you are disqualified.

On Nitro Sprint. What is the Best size clutch bell to use. I think I have 64 on the spur. please let me know..

Friday night was pretty good. track looked better than last time.:thumbsup:
