HYPERDRIVE and Big Bill's R/C Raceway's 4th Annual $$$ Race

Here is where you will find all info for the upcoming race August 20-22. Only a few more details need to be worked out. Then we will start an entry list and sponsor list.....

Hyperdrive is our title sponsor this year.....we would like to thank Barry for his support and ask that you support those who support us......

We will be talking to the local hotels in Lincoln the first of the week....

Camping was available last year at the park, right across the tracks.....only about 300-400 yards from the track...we will be checking on that also.

Trailers will be mostly limited to 16' or less......I'm still doing the scheduling today.....racing will start Friday afternoon/evening then continue saturday around noon.

I have a couple errands to run right now.....more info soon.....stay tuned!

Don't forget, this will be a 50% payback race.....

First......$30
Second....$20
Third........$20

Plus, for those who don't already know.....this race is listed on www.rcsignup.com (http://www.rcsignup.com) and you can go there to sign up.....

How about it EAST COAST guys? West coast is being represented.....anyone from east of Ohio coming this year? PA? NY? I know the CW guys made it last year.....but anyone else?

There was a truck class last year, had like 7 entries.... not exactly a real good turnout, and with this years expected turnout being bigger than last year, There simply is no room for a class of 8 cars. I stand corrected, though I was not entirely wrong....

I did not realize there was a Bomber class, and a gas truck class..... there was 8 bombers. That was what I was referring to. Didnt realize there was 2 classes running the same vehicles with different bodies... I guess I was too busy to realize last year.

I had to turn marshall the "BOMBER" heat... only reason I remember them. 8 started, 3 would finish, and they werent even crashing, just fallin apart...LOL.

Sad display at such a prestigious event..... Im all for a gas truck class....more time between the 5 classes I am running! LOL.

Hey Eugene or anyone that can help.
I just registered for rcsignup and it is requiring me to choose a chassis model for my profile before I can sign up for this race. Problem is. I run a chassis that is not on the list. And due to being a sponsored driver of the chassis I run. Dont think it would be a good thing to sign up under another chassis. How can I or do I get around this issue. And I know of other racers that will be signing up that will have the same issue.

Super 8 has rooms for us @ $55 for single room and $59 for double.....but he said to reserve them fast cause that weekend is the last week of the Illinois state fair.....

As soon as I get an idea of how many entries we will have, that is when we can decide what the schedule can be......but we will have at least 1 heat on friday night.....I'd plan on being at the track ALL day friday....

As of right now, on RCSignUp only......we have 79-80 entries.....plus we have over 4 weeks to go.....I'm gonna start pushing people to get signed up in the next week or so. That way we can ALL have an idea of how many are coming and get some kind of schedule set up.....

So, if you haven't signed up already.....please check out rcsignup.....go to the 4th Annual $$$ race for Big Bill's and sign up.....you don't have to pay untill you get to Bill's.....

I also understand we are going to have some who never get on-line, show up to race and we are accounting for that also......so if we have 80 NOW plus the ones I know of that arent signed up.....we are for sure over 100 with 4 weeks.....headed to 250? Make sure you tell everyone you know about this race......Sprints and Late Models, Outside, Under the Lights, good food and awesome track......

I will start a sign up list on here this weekend....

Practice Friday am around 9ish till 2:30.....first heat race will start at 3PM. Two heats Friday, one heat and the mains on Saturday.
