NO REPLY IS NEEDED. THIS IS JUST A THANK YOU FROM US AT SWR

Hello everyone, first I would like to thank everybody that came and made this race unbelievably fun, exciting and possible. The party afterwards was amazingly fun and showed the best friendship in r/c racing I have ever seen in 25 years. I also would like to thank Matt Murphy and all the sponsors again for this entire series and RC4LESS (Bruce) for helping and sponsoring SpeedWorld for this event

You guys and gals made this if not the best race I have ever held in 11 years at SpeedWorld over any National or World event I have held. You racers raced hard and clean, you were ready to race when you were up and you had fun. You racers do not know what it’s like after an event daily and have to pick up 7 to10 35 gallons of garbage on the ground from disrespectful racers like I have over the years or have to clean up after adults like I have. All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did not have to pick up one thing after or during this event and all I can say is thank you for respecting my facility and my family.

SpeedWorld race facility is yours at any time you guys want it, as long as there is a party afterwards again, LOL.

For those of you skeptic about racing on asphalt with these types of cars, boy you were wrong and missed out on great and close racing. The cars were off the hook. What was great about this type of racing is they were not NASCAR pan car racing which I am not really fond of. This was dirt racing just on the asphalt. I am a sprint car and late model fan and it was awesome to watch

Congrats to all the winners and thank you too everybody that made it out to SpeedWorld. Every one of you racers and pit crew were class acts.

Mike Isham, Sherman Wong, Brian Jacobsen and the bbq cooks, thank you for making sure my family got feed. You guys are awesome.

Again, I would like thank all the SpeedWorld gang that help make this race nice and ready to race when I returned home.

What ever you guys are doing at all the tracks, keep it up, because if your any racer is not part of this type of racing, they are missing out on everything R/C racing is about.

Thank you Billy Bowerman
I hope to see you guys again soon.

I AM TRYING TO BUILD MY 1/8 LATE MODEL AND SPRINT CAR 10.5 FOR BRC.
I want to be part of the series as a racers now, LOL.

Billy the race was off the hook!! I can honestly say that I really enjoyed running my sprinters on asphalt. The track size was perfect, competition great, and of course the facility is beyond top notch:thumbsup: Thanks for making me feel so welcome......I have said it once, and I will say it again......... I have not had this much fun racing in years!!

I would love to return for a club race as long as others are willing to run sprint cars!

Only negative about the weekend was dinner after the races. We had a nice table and lots of chatter, but Billy refused to sit with us? Whats up with that bro? Did I really smell that bad? Ohh I know..... Matt was sooooo loud it made your ears bleed!! LOL

I have to say I was skeptical going into this. I have been racing RC cars for over 15 years and have never run on asphalt. But man this was a GREAT and fun race! I cannot wait to go back! Not only that, this is the nicest facility I have EVER been to!! This was a 1st class race and a first class facility run by first class people, everything that added up to a great and fun event.

Thank you!!

P.S. I am ready to come back for some more oval racing, just let me know when!

I have already said it once in another post but I will say it again here... Billy and his crew worked their tails off to see that their best of the west event was the best it could be..and it was...I am a died in the wool dirt guy but I had a blast on the asphalt..There is no doubt that the car count for speedworlds oval races will increase..Looking forward to seeing the speedworld crew at BRC..:) Rex

No reply may be needed, but one of appreciation is warranted...

First Class describes every aspect of the facility and the event at Speedworld. Thank you Billy and everyone involved in providing us with a world class track and facility to race our toy cars on. I vote that we keep the flat asphalt bullring on our "dirt oval" schedule every year. This event to me was the final proof that it is not the surface of the track that matters, it is the cars, people, facility and racing that makes any race fun and memorable. Like you, I too wish there were more opportunities to race "dirt oval" cars on asphalt instead of pan cars. Billy, I hope you get your stuff together and make it to BRC as a racer so you can relax and race with us! From experience, I understand the sacrafice made by race directors to ensure that the racers are able to enjoy a professionally run race program and for that I personally thank you and all the others that have allowed me to enjoy being "just another racer" at each of the events I have attended.
