I came to your track last year, what a great facility. My question though is that after racing there I noticed a lot of surface rust on all the steel parts of my car. I assume you were using something on the racing surface. Is this still the situation and would it help to spray all steel parts with a light lube?
See you all Saturday, Mike Watson

I noticed it more last year than this year. I think George also needs to look at the compressor. It's great to be able to hose your car off but I noticed a mist coming from it. It needs a dryer or water seperator on it to take the moisture out of the air. I'm almost convinced that this is more the culprit for the rust on steel parts than the track. I will look for the mist tomorrow. More noticable at night.

Thanks Walter, but I'm still guessing it's a calcium or some other agent he treats the track with. I never used his compressor.

Its the calcium he puts on the track. I usally spray a little wd-40 over the whole car so everything wipes off the car after the race.:greenflag:
