OK Guys, Let us know who will be heading out to SpeedWorld's Super high bite Asphalt Oval!!! The track will be a200 foot asphalt Bull-Ring for the BEST of the WEST series' only Pavement race. This race is race #4 of the series, and I expect the competition to be as close as any of the previous races! This race is June 19th, and just might be the biggest of them all!

Go ahead and sign me up for Latemodel, 10.5 sprint and nitro sprint. Kelly and Amanda will both do Rookie SCT. Kelly is practicing until the 19th (every day) so she can maybe race in the electric sprint this time (everyone can judge her at practice on the 18th).

Also, just talked with Bruce Pease and Randy Grenier. They are both in for Latemodel and Randy for 1/10 scale electric LM.

Hello everyone, just getting home from the track eating great food and being with great people.

All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never seen in 25 years this many racers get together and have a party like the Best of the West Dirt oval guys. First of all you would never believe how much food they BBQ and brought to this race to party after practice, unbelieable. The party started at 8:00 pm and will end when ever they want to, LOL.

Matt didn't just put together a series that's is very sucessful, he also attracted some of the best drivers in California to compete with he brought together some of the nicest people you have ever meet in the r/c racing industry.

SpeedWorld is proud to be part of the series and I hope everybody enjoys the race even though it's not on dirt.

I also would like to give a special thanks to all the guys and gals that help get the facility together for this race and made SpeedWorld shine like we like it all year around especially for this type of races. I would like to thank Steve W, Jason & Christopher S, Mel, Jason T, Todd, Skeeter, Victor, Vil, Justin W, Cameron, Kerry, Brian, Amanda & Kelly Jacobsen, Kyle, Krystal, Brandon, Esterlee, Chree and the man that keep it going and taking charge Mike Hall. Thank you everyone.

I would like thank Brian Jacobsen and his family for the wonderful gift to SpeedWorld sponsoring two 22" monitors that are being used in the pits and in the spectator bleacher for them to watch lap times and positions in the grandstands during the race.

Billy - Thank you for allowing us to bring the series to your WORLD-CLASS racing facility.

I try to lead by example, butapparently I need to listen to the part of the drivers meeting that I am not giving.... LOL!!! I cost my driver 2 laps in the 8th LM A-Main by not following track procedures.... Stop and Go penalty, enforced by Billy, no matter who I was... exactly how it should be!

We all truly enjoyed this race, thanks for having us!!!

i want to thank billy and the speedworld crew for a great time , i had a lot of fun , and as usual the friday night social was a blast , and saturdays racing was a lot of fun , i was all set for a bump up to the a main in 1/8 late model only to have a throttle servo horn break , i think it got cracked in a crash and then another crash finished it off , oh well it happens , ill see you guys at brc
