Allan Webster did what many of us always wished we could. He married a racer. On may 22nd, 2010, Allan married Shannon McQueen. Shannon races USAC Western States Maidgets.

Been a long long morning!!! Hardest part was getting out of bed.

Thanks for all the congratulations. Surely some of you have heard the story about the last minute trip to PA, which solidified the DODC points as compared to doing our engagement photos that weekend. She has been very understanding. Just like myself giving up weekends of fun for weekends of working on her race cars.

For the record, she actually agreed to take my name...

During the week atleast...

She'll still be McQueen on weekends when she races, yet, I don't think I get forced into taking McQueen.

I'm looking for blackmail material on Matt... specifically from the wedding, just give me a little time. hahahaha

I had the pleasure of watching Shannon literally blow away the competition tonight in the BCRA midget race at the Placerville speedway. She started tenth and last in her heat and finished fourth. She was the only one doing any passing. After the pill draw she started outside second row in the main and led the first lap and every other lap in the 30 lap main. That's two main wins in two weeks. Congratulations Shannon. She and Allan are clearly a winning pair.

Looks like Allan is the #2 racer in the house again this week..... LOL.

If any of you wanna come out to watch Shannon run in the USAC Western States Midget show at Bakersfield on June 26, Allan may be there (depending on work) and I will definitely be there helpin out in the pits, as Kody Swanson will be in one of Shannon's other cars.

Since getting married, Shannon is 2 for 2, picking up a pair of BCRA wins in her Spike Midget!
