What battery ?????

I'm looking into getting a new battery for my sprint car and was wondering what li po packs are people runnning ??? I have the DODC packs but was told they would not fair well in the open sprint class. Basically I need the C rating and MaH to choose a pack preferably with the deans connector.

Best one is the Thunder Power 5000mah 40C. They run about $115 at Lefthander and run great in the mod cars.

Toby I know alot of guys use the venom 5000 30c or the SMC 5200 24c I run the latter and like it so far:thumbsup:

Toby I am running the SMC 5400 50c. Give Jerry from OHP a call and he can hook you up with a good batt for your sprint.

Toby, I started running with 2 5200/40c SMC packs they where good at first but didn't last long. I think these packs where SMC's first big packs but a lot of them where recalled. I've been using Venom 5000/20c 30c bursts and they work good for the cost (under $50 at B&J) good run time and if geared right never short on speed.

Thanks guys now all I need to do is make the final choice and get the battery. Till then I'll be practicing or maybe even trying racing with a DODC pack and a 10.5 or a 13.5.
