Spool for Ofna center diff

I have the center diff locking spool for the Losi L8 and was wondering if you could make one for the Ofna 1/8 scale sprinter...Pretty sure the diff is from a Hyper 8 or 8.5....Thanks

Have you tried the King Headz Losi locker in your Ofna diffs?

Or...Cen makes one that you can get from Tower. Very similar to Jim's (not as pretty) and it fits in several brands of diffs.

Just some options if they do not have plans to make one specifically for you. :thumbsup:

FYI, you can put your center spool that you have in the center of your ofna GTP in the front or rear diff cases. Just remove your spur gear and put on your ring gear from your front(rear)diff, set your mess and your ready to rock.

From what I understand the spool that comes in the GTP will not fit in the sprinter...The sprinter has an actual center diff unlike the GTP....I might try the losi spool to see if it will work...

the sprint center diff is from the hyper 8.5 buggy. so his losi spool should fit or I tried a savage spool but they are hard to find. I ended up making one from a 15mm dia aluminum rod.

Has anyone figured out if the Losi spool will fit? I'm interested as well. I think I'm going to buy the King Headz locker and see if it works. If not, I'm going to buy the center spool and brake cups for the GTP and attempt to retrofit them to the Sprint.

The GTP spool will not directly fit into the sprint car, the over all length is to long but with a lathe it is possible to retrofit it

I tried the gtp spool in my hyper 7 but it took more work to make spacers and chop up shafts that I just took a 1/2 inch or so piece of aluminum bar stock and whitled a locker out of it with a dremel. Too my total lack of confidencon my part, it works flawlessly.

Try putting diff lock or silly putty in your existing center diff before you buy something that your not sure your going to like how it makes your sprint drive.
