Racing on May 15th

For those who weren't at the open practice last week and didn't hear... There will be racing at Allen's this Saturday, May 15th. Practice @ 3:00pm with Racing @ 6:00pm.

Looks like Sprints and 13.5 Late Model are going to be big classes this year and there are a lot of fun and exciting things planned for this summer so it should be a lot of fun!

Looks like the weather will be pretty good this weekend. Looking forward to seeing some dirt fly.

In addition to the oval classes if you have a Short Course truck bring it out. I'm sure we will bang some fenders on the infield track.

Talked to Allen. Right now the track is bone dry and it is barely misting... not even enough to dampen the track. He says the track can take quite a bit of water and still be raced on so as of now we're still racing. I'll post an update in a few hours.

I just talked to Scott and he said he will start at 6pm instead of 5pm if Allen get cancelled.

I hope we can get to racing at Allens tonight! Rain stay away! I looked at the radar. Seems like around 3 everything should clear up. No sprinkles like right now.

I'm at the track. As of now its still a go. Very light rain just enough to get the track moist. It looks like there is a break in the weather behind whatever it is that is over us now. We're going to give it a shot tonight so if you're on the fence, bring 'em on out!
