How do the points work?

First off I had a great time last night even though it was super cold out! Thanks for all the help guys when I had a few issues early on. I got a little better as well getting around the track. I felt pretty satisfied when I left on how things went for myself out there.

I was wondering how the points work at Allens. Since next weekend is opening night I dont want to miss any shows but I may have to go out of town next weekend. If you race lets say 15 times do they throw out your worse finish and basically your points is off of 14 shows? If not Im going to think of a way to stay home next weekend! LOL Thanks again and hopefully no more cold days around here!

This weekend won't be a points night. We won't start counting points until the 2nd week of June and there will only be about a half dozen or so races for points. Once a month Allen closes for the West Central Illinois Series races except the one here on July 10th (first one is at Maryville on June 5th). Then there are a few other "special" races mixed in that only leaves so many regular points nights available throughout the summer.

There will be a throw out for Allen's point season so you will be able to miss a race and still be in the hunt.

Racing this Saturday will have Practice starting @ 3:00pm, Racing @ 6:00pm. I will post more details later tonight.

Thats the payout for 3rd place Right. Lets have everyone chase the 3rd spot for points. LOL Just kidding. Ready to get some Rochester dirt on my Sprint. Just cleaned the LM after last weekend.

No one will care about points after we start racing. The racing this year is going to be a lot of fun, especially after we do the improvements to the track. :thumbsup:
