on my new car whats the way to fix the shocks ,the piston want slide up and down ,its looks like the blue color is to thick the piston u have to force it in .i tried these in another set of ae shocks they worked fine.i thihk the new shock bodies are coated to much,what should i do to corect this ?

make sure there are no burs on your piston. turn the shaft around and see how it fits in the shock body.if it is ok i would change out the bobbin in the shock. sometimes the hole in them are not square.(centered) LOL

Thanks Terry So your saythe molded White Bobbin is not centered? I will make a call to AE.

correct. i had one do the same thing. it was putting the shaft at an angle, which made the piston rub the shock body. after changing it out the problem was fixed.

i have gone though as many as 5 bobbins on 1 shock before finding one that works right. id say if it doesnt fit right first time just put in new bobbin
ive had them so bad that the piston wont even go inside the shock body
