Here is a video that I made of the dirt oval shoot out, best of the west series round 1. Thanks guys for coming out to CVR and racing I had a lot of fun racing with all of you.

Sweet video. Just one question, where is the dirt? Thought this was a dirt oval series, not an asphalt series. :p

so doug what matt means is that is asphalt without the tar LMAO!

The track is made out of dirt.... with an water based organic sealer..... Asphalt has petroleum in it....

Its only black because of all the rubber we laid down.... NOT!

Welcome to Dirt Oval racing in California, where the annual rainfall total is about what you guys in the midwest got yesterday! We don't have Southern Red Clay, we don't have that tacky black midwestern clay, we have desert sand...and the only way to keep it together consistently during the daytime is with an artificial sealer. It has been this way for over 25 years of California Dirt Oval racing, and "dirt" or not the racing is great and still a lot of fun. Don't knock it until you have tried it...

Hay matt next time I seal the track I'm gonna mix blue paint in it to really mess with guys! Lol
