Round #2 Golf tournament!!

Yes you guys heard right. I was thinking on friday after some practice we can have a 9 hole golf tournament. There is a course about 3 miles from the track that is reasonably priced (from what I remember) and about 6 PM we will go and have some fun, hack a little bit, and drink some beers.

Maybe we can do like a team scramble tournament type format.

No mini golf, but if we do scramble then it's a team thing so other players can save you if your crappy ( I will need some help in this department since I am crappy) just come out and have fun, and if you dont wanna play you can dispense the beer and smacktalk. I'm sure you will be TQ in that category:beer:

I would have definitely been down for that...but $#!+, I can't make it...My golf ringer (Barber) won't be making the trip either, I would have loved to see him hustle all you hackers on the golf course. If you think Dave can wheel an R/C car, you should see him with a golf club!

This will be a scramble...which means hopefully teams of 4, and it's a best ball format. That means that each player on the team hits their ball from the best tee shot, then each player hits from the next best shot and so on and so forth.

Ok guys tee times are set! First team tees off at 5:34 friday evening so we probably want to get there at about 5 or so. Rates are 18.00 to walk 26.00 to ride. Collars are not required, just dont wear any tank tops.

So far we have 6 players and room for two more. If anyone else wants to play let me know.

Rental clubs are available for 15 dollars, for anyone who does not not have clubs.

So at what point do we cancel this idea....? We are leaving practice early, to go embarrass ourselves? To make a tee time of 5:45, we will need to start packing up by at least 4:45. If Allan and I left here at 8 am, we would get to the track roughly around 2 to 2:30. this gives us a mere 2 hours of practice.... Not sure I am on board for that... and Allan will be exhausted after driving 4+ hours home from work thursday night, sleepin, and driving 6 more hours..... I mean, it sounds like a fun idea, but maybe if we teed off at like 7:45... Plus I am not sure we will have room for clubs... we are not bringing the trailer, but we are bringing 7 cars and support equipment for such.

I vote for a cancellation of the tournament!!! I wanna practice!

This kinda kills the whole team thing. Also I scheduled the tee time before practice is over, so this could cut into some folks practice. I am game to just call it and do it some other time, if that is what you guys want. We can just hang, BBQ, and drink beer just as easy.

I didn't awnser the question Because i see one. Didn't you english teacher teach you to use question marks????;). It might be easier to cancel. We will do it another time. Either way is fine with me.
