Season Opener

The 2010 Racing Season begins Saturday, May 1 (not May 8 as originally posted)! The track and facility are almost ready. it should be another great year of fun and competition. We have plenty of exciting events and a top-notch racing surface that our racers have come to expect. We look forward to seeing you at the track this year!

Track Opens at 11:00. Practice begins at 2:30. Racing at 4:30.

Is the track still open on May 1 for warm up racin'?

Oh no! I had the wrong date! Yes. Opening Day is May 1--not May 8 as originally posted here.

I will be upfront though. We are not sure what the schedule will be for opening day. We could just do practice with one or two 4' races or we could run our entire racing program as normal.

My family has a church event that we must attend that afternoon and early evening. It really depends on the amount of help Todd and his wife get and how comfortable he feels running the program (usually Justin and I take care of the actual races). Remember, we haven't done this in several months either :) and we've implemented several new pieces of equipment plus the hobby shop.

We'll play it by ear. I promise we will have a quality track ready for racing that day! I'm sure we'll need to work out other glitches as they occur on a normal opening day.
