I looked but couldn't find any rules concerning transponder placement...i.e: how far forward can it be mounted? Are there any rules reguarding this? I know when I raced 1/4 scale, it had to be behind the centerline of the front axle.

I will be moving back to Clearwater in mid May and am building an 8th scale LM to run at SS Raceway on a weekly basis and in the FDOS.

Any help is appreciated.

There is no rule on where the transopnder can be mounted. I've seen alot of guys mount them on the front bumper. SS is a great track, and you'll also want to check out Little Dover. They run on sundays and it is an awesome 1/8 track. http://www.lildoverrc.com/

Thanks guys for the help. That is what I needed to know.

Tailslide...I do plan on running at Little Dover along with New Reds too. All 3 tracks look like a blast to run on and can't wait until I make the move! Definately plan on doing all the series races I can, plus run an occasional weekly race at those tracks. I look forward to meeting/racing with you soon!:revs:
