It is YOUR responsibility to make sure your car is legal. Not the tech man's job to find what isn't legal. Anything found to be blatantly illegal will receive a quick firm Disqualification from that race round, whether it be qualifying or main events. A second time you are found blatantly illegal will result in a DQ for the race day.

ALL CARS must go to tech AFTER each race. What exactly is teched after each round will be at the Tech Directors discretion. The Tech Director will impound the top 3 qualifiers until the end of that classes heats, at which time they will be thouroughly teched. If you do not understand how this works...here is how it will go:

-First heat of Nitro sprint has just finished their race. All cars must go to tech, and the drivers head out to turn marshall.
-During the next race, the cars will be teched, and the top 3 cars will be impounded.
-After the race, the cars of drivers not in the top 3 may pick up their cars and head back to the pits. If someone in heat 2 took over the second qualifying spot, the car bumped to 4th will be released from impound.
-This same procedure will continue until the round of Qualifying is complete and the overall top 3 are left in Impound.
-The top 3 cars will be closely inspected for rule compliance, and released when inspection of all 3 cars is complete.
-There will be well over 2 hours per round, so drivers complaints about needing to work on their cars will simply be ignored. The integrity of a rules package is only as good as ithe way it is enforced. We do not want any cheating, and will do our best to ensure nothing gets by us.

REMEMBER.... Just because a vehicle got through tech in round one with a rules violation, does not make it legal in round 2!!! That argument carries no merit. With 140 cars, it is impossible to tech everything on every car after every race. If you are found Illegal at any time you will be strictly DQ'ed, whether the car belongs to Joe-Racer, Joe Blow, or Myself.... Nobody is above the rule book.

Some of the rules will be given a slight allowance, We will not DQ someone over 1/16th of an inch, but 1/4", that is no slight error.

Fuel tanks are Maximum 75cc in 10th scale, and 125cc in 8th scale. We will give an allowance during post race inspection, but will not publicly post that number so racers dont see it as a gray area.

I hope you all understand the rules, and the tech inspection procedure. I look forward to a fun, fair, friendly racing season.

If you have any questions about rules or tech inspection procedures, please post them here.

Thanks,

Matt Murphy
