Tech Tips
If your car doesnt seem to rotate in the center of the corner
Reduce the thickness of the oil or grease that is inside the differential
If your car is over rotating exiting the corner
Thicken up the oil or grease.
This is only a band aid on the real problem of lifting the left rear tire which will unload the diff. If this is happening you have a few options
Higher rate RF Spring
Heavier Oil RF
Longer Shock Shaft LR
Lighter OIL LR
Heavier oil RR
If you are lifting the LR even in a Ball Diff Car you are loosng forward movement. The only difference is the gear diff will let you know it faster.

So you're saying that you should be able to run thinner diff oil as long as the car doesn't dump too hard on the RR and over rotate due to LR unloading?

yes exactly:
In Jeff Cisney's Car there is a extremely light coating of extra thin oil. Not more then a drop. As long as the cars is working correctly it can spin like a slash diff.

I have noticed if I am all the way out of throttle and jump back to throttle hard it wants to over rotate.....If I am able to stay maybe 1/4 throttle before i get back to hard throttle its fine....However it is tough to do this...Would thickening up the oil help this situation?

yes slowly step the thickness up, until it goes away. if using shock oil then step it up about 10wt each time. then fine tune it to assure the rotation without the hook. when you get it prefect you should be able to leave it alone pretty much for good.

Thanks......
I am actually running another guys car and it has black grease in it....What would be a step up from there? You said if you use shock oil.......What would be around the equivalent weight in shock oil to match up with black grease? Just so I would have a starting point if we wanted to try using shock oil.

sorry i am not getting notices of posts.
I am using a 30 wt on a loose dirt and I am using a very thin oil like WD-40 on BLUE grooved high grip tracks.
hope this helps and sorry for the delay.

What is the gear ratio for the T2C gear-diff transmission? 2.4 or 2.6? Thanks.

Do you make a Sc10 based GT Tranny conversion? Would love to run one in my nitro sprinter and use the GT tranny currently.
Thanks
Jeff
