View Full Version : Mini Late Model 500 - April 17th

It is official... the next 500 lapper will be on Saturday, April 17th. Same as the last one in February, there will be a 500 lap Sportsman, 500 lap Expert, and a 200 lap Novice(kids) race!

In addition to the 500 lap races the awards for the current point series will be handed out to the winners. Further details on the 500 lappers will be posted later today. Start getting your team ready, its going to be a lot of fun!

Ok, time to start a roll call for this race to get an idea of how we will set up the pitting area.

List BOTH driver's names on your team and which class you plan to run.

For example:

Sportsman / Allen Mendenhall / Mark Daniels


If you do not have a teammate, just list your name and class you are going to run and we can list you anyway to hopefully find you a teammate.

Well we had a driver's meeting yesterday to discuss this race and because of the warmer weather for outdoor racing and the fact Allen needs to take every opportunity he can to get in the fields we have decided to cancel the 500 lappers on the 17th. The weather is much nicer right now than it was this time last year and several tracks have already started racing outside with Allen's track not too far behind.

We will work on having another one of these next indoor season. Allen's will be closed all weekend.

For those of you wanting to get some track time in on the dirt, several of us plan on going to Maryville this Saturday for their last practice night before opening night the following weekend. :greenflag::whiteflag::checkeredflag:
