I know that the Custom Works and Terminator converts to a truck pretty easy with the old style RC10GT. It looks like that might work for the front but what would work for the rear of the BMS?

looks good so far. you do know that is the sprint car chassis. the only reason i say something is it might make it aliitle harder to mount your body on the front. anyway im sure you will figure something out. keep the updated pictures coming.

Getting further along but I need a little team suport.;)
1. I need to see some pics with the bodies off of some of your BMS cars for battery placement ect. (LM, EDM, and sprints) jsrjj@verizon.net
2. Gear ratio you guys run for B&J, I got a BMS Limited LM also.
3. Does B&J stock BMS parts, how is getting parts off the BMS websight?
Thanks guys.

Typically we run the batteries under the front shock tower, but it appears that's not an option for you. I would suggest mounting it behind the rear shock tower to start, and see what that does for you.
As far as gearing at Bumps I run a 23/62 on 2.45 tires...which comes out to a 1.133 rollout.
I should have some pics I can send you tomorrow....hope this helps.

all my latemodel's have the battery between the fuel tank and exhaust pipe. i just cut a small peice of kydex and bolt it onto the chassis to the left side of the fuel tank. i then take a dremel and about 2-3 cutting disc [ for thicknest ] and cut about half way throught the peice of kydex [left to right]. this makes a channel on the bottom side. i then servo tape the battery into place and and wrap a ziptie around the battery and peice of kydex[ the channel you cut hould's the ziptie in place and allows you to mount the kydex to your chassis because it recesses the ziptie].
as far as parts go, give pete fair a call at 717-448-0038. he will set you up with anything you need and be glad to ship it to you. the webpages online store needs to be reworked. some of the shock towers, etc shown on there have been replaced with a new version with more shock mounting opions. also we have new motor mounts that are very trick. bumps and jumps does not stock the parts, but if you show chris interest in buying them there that would mostlikly change.
llm gearing for bumps. tires bigger than 2.6 run 22 clutch and 60 spur. tires less than 2.6 run 23 clutch and 60 spur.
