2010 Dirt Oval Season Info

Warmer weather and dirt oval season is approaching. Big plans are on the way for the 2010 season at Allen's R/C. Track updates, a revised class structure, and the return of Saturday night racing should all provide one of the better summer seasons here at Allen's.

The 2010 Dirt Oval Classes are as follows:

-DODC MOD Electric Sprint
-DODC Nitro Sprint
-DODC MOD Late Model
-WCIS SPEC Sprint
-WCIS SPEC Late Model
-Nitro Truck/EDM
-Losi Mini Late Model

The WCIS classes will use series rules and the DODC classes will use DODC/WCIS rules (production buggy tires and and up to .18 motor allowed in Nitro classes).

In addition to the new class structure is a full schedule for the 2010 season including the annual Custom Works King of the Wings race on Labor Day weekend.

The tentative (subject to change) Schedule is as follows:

5th - CLOSED (WCIS Round #1 @ Maryville)
12th - Regular Points Race
19th - Dash for Cash (details TBA)
26th - Regular Points Race (pending WCIS rain date)

July
2nd & 3rd - North / South Shootout (details TBA)
10th - WCIS Round #2 here @ Allen's
17th - Regular Points Race
24th - Regular Points Race (pending WCIS rain date)
31st - Dash for Cash (details TBA)

August
7th - CLOSED (WCIS Round #3 @ Robert's)
14th - SPECIAL LATE MODEL & NITRO TRUCK/EDM ENDURANCE RACE (in addition to regular classes)
21st - CLOSED
28th - Regular Points Race (pending WCIS rain date)

September
4th & 5th - 2010 King of the Wings
11th - CLOSED (WCIS Round #4 @ Big Bill's)
18th - Regular Points Race (pending WCIS rain date)
25th - Final Points Race (pending weather)
