There has been interest in an electric Late Model class. If I can get 10 of them at the first series race, I will make them a points scoring class. I am thinking 10.5 with DODC Rules and the same tire rules for each track as the Sprint cars.
Let me know if you are interested!

I talked to Ron Bolles today and he and I are willing to make all the races.
Matt, do you think we could get a "yes" or a "no" on this class fairly soon? I don't have anything to run at the loose dirt tracks (I'd have to buy tires/wheels, etc.) and I don't really want to spend the money if you're not going to run the cars in the series. Having a latemodel class though is kind of the selling point for both Ron and I to run the series seeing as neither of us race any nitro, and it would be a tough sell to drive down to madera and Bako just to run elec sprint.

Matt, are the spoiler rules for the 1/10 LM the normal DODC - 2.750" from deck, etc? Are both the Eldora and Paduka bodies approved?
Thanks, Frank

I run 1/8lm , but used to run alot of 1/10 paved oval, would love to run a 10.5 late model, anyone interested in trading a losi xxxnt w/ a os.12 and EDM conversion kit with new unpainted body for a 10.5 latemodel. I also have an Ofna DO PRO new never ran, would trade that also!! Just thought I'd ask :)

Hey Tim,
Not sure I want to trade a car, but if you're interested, I have a really nice custom works GBX with a novak GTB and a Novak 10.5 in it that you can do an "arrive and drive" with, maybe trade a few practice laps in an 8th scaler. I'm planning on making all the races in the series. I can take care of a battery for it also. Just ask that you cover your own tire bill and any broken parts.
Let me know if you're interested,

I am planning on making all the races, I actually have 2 complete race ready Losi L8eight models, so I you more than welcome to put some laps on one. I am gonna be at BRC this sat the 20th trying to get some more track time in before CVR.... I have 2 lipo batteries, but not sure if they are what you use, they are 5000mah, 35c hardcase Protek's, both brand new, would they work???

Oh yeah, those batteries would be fine! (better than what I primarily run! LOL!) Matt Murphy can give you all the details on the tires you'll need. unfortunately I don't think I'm going to be able to get out before CVR, but I'll keep Brentwood in mind next saturday if I don't end up working. So yeah, go ahead and plan on having a 10.5 Ride for the series if you want it, although I'm not sure how it's gonna work at Rescue? I was planning on running my B3 latemodel there.

I'd just like to run for an extra class and have a good time, figure why drive to all these races for one car?? If the car doesn't work for rescue then it can be a throw out, but we could at least try to run for the car count anyhow.... I miss runnin electric, NO FLAME OUTS LOL

Frank - Yes all the standard DODC Late Model body rules apply. Both of the above mentioned bodies are on the list. Sorry, I never saw this post....

OK guys, 10.5 Late Models will officially be running for series points. There has been enough interest in them to add the class for the entire season.
