COOL idea! You don't have to pull the kingpin out to make adjustments right?

How long are the front inner pins? Need to know if they will work using front brace when using delrin arms.

Marc/ Mark, if you run the spindle in the up position you would need to adjust the bottom by removing the bottom e clip.
so there is adjustment each way but you do not have to remove the king pin

they are made to fit all Terminator based cars. these are our factory pins and fit with the delrin machined arms.
Total end to end about 1.5" I will have to look up the exact dimensions it you need them, but that is with in .100

oh and before I am asked we decided on stainless due to this material is the best to combat the calcium that some track use.

Great idea....Kranzels uses a pin that goes thru just like this, but rather than machine the top section down, he drilled out the balls in the rod ends. I like this idea better! It sucks when you get the balls mixed up & can not locate the drilled out ones!!!

well this caught me at the USOW i was planning on using them just like the sprint i was driving of Brocks. But never measured the king pin on brocks sprint to know it was 3mm which required no drilling.
After rushing and screwing up about 2 hiem joints i put the regular king pins in both mine and jamies car. And then turn to my laptop to design a pin that I would never have to drill a hiem joint ball again!
LOL Learn to build better product by frustration!

the pics you see doesnt tell the whole story. I will try to get you something like we have for our 1/10 pan car front end in video on youtube.
It will show how much you can get this thing to adjust.
on this angle you do not see the adjutment on the bottom

You can see a better angle in this pic.
Depending on where the spindle location is desired depends on the amount you can adjust without conflicting with the rim
If you run the spindle High in the carrier you can add spacers under the top flange adjusting it up to .300 higher then normal.

Glenn was asking because we use Delrin front bulkheads....if you do not use the cf or alum brace across the front inner hinge pins you will split the delrin front bulkhead...if you run alum bulkheads this is not an issue. So our inner front pins are longer than the standard Terminator setup using alum or delrin arms. It is more about saving the bulkhead.

Hmmm, must be a Solidworks thing.
I have never had that happen in my ProE models.
