I just wanted to make this post while things are fresh in my mind.

I have only been in this hobby for 6 months. From a new persons perspective the hospitality I received this weekend (from the folks who put it on to the racers) was off-the-charts great. People were always telling me "Please don't be afraid to ask". I am not an outgoing guy but everyone I crossed paths with was awesome.

To the folks who put on the show great job! The scoring glitch was out of your hands and you handled it well IMO. First class from start to finish. I will be back!

From the competitor end there are people I would like to thank by name:

Lloyd and Richard Smith - THANK YOU so much for the ride. This was greatly appreciated not only by me but my buddies who needed to sleep off their hangovers from the CB party! I will make this up to you guys somehow sometime.

Mr. Hartz (David I believe... drove 91 nitro sprint) THANK YOU for letting me use your scales and adjusting weight bias on the car. That change did help out a ton!

Rob Mulvaney (Wolfman) - THANK YOU for all your help and all the answers to questions I had. Wegs was right.... you are a great guy. The setup ideas were sound and using what I had available the car drove GREAT. I felt like a kid in a candy store Thursday and Friday! Congrats on the TQ and finishing second. Next time an opportunity presents itself the adult beverage of your choice is on me!

This novice racer will be back to run again! Congrats to all the winners!

I do have a question. I went to the results thread on Midwest RC and am trying to read the form it generated. It lists me as car #6 but if I follow 6 thru there it has me completing far more laps than I actually had. Can someone explain how to read this or a link to a page that explains it?

Thanks ahead of time!

The forums don't like the formatted text. So your column will jump to the left a bit. Just need to count the columns and shake a voodoo doll.

Youre very welcome, it was great to meet you.

Im going to borrow you thread for my thanks as well lol
Jack Gray, huuuuge thanks for the engine! Brian Hicks for the numbers, I really appreciate you taking the time to get those done for me. The track crew did a great job of building a racetrack that flowed very well, better than last year for sure, I had my doubts before getting out there but overall very impressed! Scott you did a hell of a job, congrats! Cant wait to do it all again..:checkeredflag:
