SS 2wd Series

2wd guys, SS is giving us our own series, on our own nite, track prepped the way we like it, 5 races 1 drop. We will be calculating points just like FDOS and there will be awards to the top 5 in each class at the end of the season.

This years schedule(all races will be run on Saturdays

8/15
9/19
10/17
11/14
12/19

Track to open at 4pm and RACES start at 6pm

All races will have 7 max per heat, 8 max per main, w/ 2 bump ups in the lower mains(same setup as FDOS). If there are only 9 cars in a class don't expect that we will run 9 in the main, cus we won't)

Entriy fees will be a straight $15 per car(w/ $5 per car going toward award/prizes)

just wanted to say it's good to see some new guys getting into 2wd. in the 2wd classes(w/ exception of bomber) most of the guys have pretty good track etiquette. by track etiquette, i mean when your a lap down and the leader(s) come up on you don't try to race w/ them, just go a little high in one corner, let them under u and pull back in behind them. both you and the leader will be much happier and faster this way. another example is... if your car is broken, not handling, or having whatever problem, that you cannot drive at a reasonable pace and/or in a straight line, pull the car off the track so you don't end up breaking someone elses car. most all the 2wd guys run you very clean, at least untill someone repeatedly exhibits no track etiquette, when/if that happes that person usually starts looking like a pinball in their races.
w/ all that said... i'd like to mention two standouts i noticed last nite in new guys to 2wd.... rick long for running very good on his first nite, and michael oneal for staying out of trouble all nite and proving he knows what track etiquette means. great job to both of you.
