Last week one of our racers put up $50 on another 100 lap Bomber feature. Since the guys know the main is 100 laps they like to sandbag a bit. So when we called out the line up magically the field was inverted. Well despite that the same guy won the last one so now we are going to make it a little more interesting. For the next 5 weeks we will have a $10.00 a week bounty on Jerry in the bomber class. which means if you beat jerry in bomber class with at least 5 other bombers you could win $50.00...at the end of the 5 weeks if nobody has beaten jerry then he gets the $50.00.. so there is no misunderstanding. there will be a 100 lap race in bomber every week for 5 weeks. if you beat jerry on week 3 then you win $30.00.. must have 5 entries per race to count for the prize money... i do beleive the prize money will grow, so dust off the bombers and lets see who has what it takes to beat jerry.

I gotta finish building mine!

2nd row down would be "middle" one would be "inside" and one would be "outside". whatever way the manual says to set the front end is the hole you need to have it in (inside or outside, i forget)

In other news the Bounty was paid out on the first night tonight. Jerry broke on the start of the race just after crossing the line. It appears that some guys are impatient lol. 10 dollars were paid out to Jim. Jim's been racing with us on and off for 8 months now and had been having trouble finishing a race so it was good to see him come out on top of this one.

I lived in Cocoa in 2007, man do I miss Florida. I never made to Newred. The bombers look cool.

We run 2WD-Latemodels up here. Are yours 2WD? We use either 17.5 or 13.5 brushless motors w/3200 lipo's. Are you guys using brushless. We use foam tires.

I plan on being in Florida from around Feb 7 -15, Not exactly sure. What days do you race?

We race nitro and electric 2wd late models, Stock and Mod Truck, every saturday and sometimes Electric and Nitro Sprint. If you have on-road cars, we race 17.5 & 13.5 TC the 1st and 3rd saturday mornings.

Nitro LM follow DODC rules.
Electric LM follow DODC Body rules. Here at NRH its any 10.5 BL and any 2S lipo. Fast enough for average joe, but not so fast that they can't be marshalled.

There seems to be little interest in 8th scale locally. Most 8th scale is in tampa. No nitro bombers at this time. Nitro truck is weekly though

truck classes mean truck. ie oem truck arms, truck wheels, truck chassis.
off-road or dirt oval style body. max side dam height - 1 inch above roofline. spoiler max - 3 inches from deck (ie any mcallister d/o truck body is already at max)
Open tire rule. (most run foams - silver, green or pink. slicks are best if you want to run rubber)

electric - 2s lipo or 6c nimh
-- mod truck - any brushed or brushless motor
-- stock truck - here its really 13.5

nitro - standard fuel tanks
.12 to .18 (jato 3.3 allowed in that truck)
