I'd be in for some mod sprint but can't commit to every weekend. 6.5 or open dosen't matter to me.

why not just open it up and let the guys run what they are comfortable with, or what they have? that way there is no reason to exclude anyone or make someone buy a special motor?

I'll go with electric sprint too. I got plenty of motors so I don't care how big they get. I'll just have to buy more parts ;)

I agree with open run what ya brung, If you know your gonna run the tour also just get a 6.5 and be done. I just want another class to run this summer along with my open sprinter. just wanted to know what other people thought and or wanted to run. I am open to anything.

Guys!
We've run this class for years! LOL. It's our Open Wheel class! I have no problem calling it Open Sprint. I like the idea of keeping the motor open but a 6.5 would be a good call if you are running the PANT.
Not looking at changing the classes too much for the 2010 season.
Nitro:
Truck
Limited Late Model and Sprint
Open Late Model and Sprint
EDM
Sportsman
Electric:
13.5 Late Model (really like to see this class grow more)
Open Wheel (or just Sprint)
Other ideas?

After talking to a few people at Bumps yesterday, we will change the Open Wheel class to strictly Mod Sprint following the DODC rules. This will enable guys who run the PANT limited mod class to participate but also give a chance for others who have a different turn brushless to run as well. I would assume most will stick with the 6.5 limit brushless that way they can run the tour.
If we would get any 13.5 EDMs, we will run them separate.

I know what you mean. I just bought a DODC Motor and battery at Bumps to convert an electric EDM to a 13.5 Late Model. :)
They look like so much fun!

Perfect class to add Scott. Electric is HOT right now, and doesn't show too many signs of slowing down, especially the 13.5 Late Model class. Just keeps growing, and they are a blast.:greenflag::greenflag:

Who says there a blast . Don't get me wrong, I run them only because the Tour switched over to them & they have been the biggest class, but it has been the roughest class to drive in:thumbsdown:. I know I will probably run both LM & EDM, but for the most part, I have seen cleaner EDM racing then I have LM & im not alone in my thinking either. Not trying to pick on ya Rick, just bustin your, well you get the point !:D
GO FAST TURN LEFT ! Keith S.

Boy did you hit that on the head. I do agree that class is some of the roughest racing that I have seen in quite a long time. You know how it is for certain folks...eight wheels turn better than four!! By the way, thanks for the help with the sprint on Sat. Handling was off, but car was definitely faster, and not no where as evil as it was at the OW.
