Custom Works RC

Below is a link to the estimated schedule for this years event.
You will see a few things will be different than in years past. The first thing you will likely notice is that on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the days will be split with all electric running in the first half of the day and all of the nitro running in the second half of the day. Our goal here is to try to keep everyone from having to be at the track all day every day. Knowing that with the amount of racers we have the facility and parking will be fairly congested this schedule may help to ease some of that congestion as well as giving racers who are only running one or the other a little more opportunity for activitys outside the racetrack.
Also you will notice several QUICK TUNE SESSIONS listed throughout the week. These will be short opportunitys for drivers who have had problems and need to do some checks of any kind whether it be a diff adjustment, radio check or nitro motor tuning of some sort. The full track will not be available for these sessions, it will be modified and sectioned off so that you will not be able to run in the racing line or do any chassis tuning of any kind. This will only be for drivers who need access to the track for checking a problem or fixing an issue they may have had.
Take some time and look it over and make sure you understand fully how everything will work. With this format each racer will have at least 7 different practice sessions available before the first qualifying round. Some of you may not think that is enough but remember this is the big show, the grand puba, the superbowl of your sport. There are seven opportunities to dial in your car, if you need to use these just to make sure your body is not rubbing or your speed control is set properly you are probably not as prepared as you should be for the Biggest race of the year. With over 500 entries track time is at a premium so make sure you are prepared to use it to its fullest potential.
Also I will be traveling tommorow and will have limited access to this site over the next few days. If you have a question please post it here but if it isnt answered by myself or Chris right away just know that you are not being ignored. Well actualy some of you may be ignored to be honest. :p
