After a 5 yr vacation, I am getting back into racing...I've already recieved my Spec Motor and battery. Have a new set of pinks, waiting to be turned and grooved. Got the springs and oil for my TC3 shocks.....I have a never raced D/D Pro Comp Sprinter. I have a 125 spur gear. When I built the car, I put a Kranzel's set-up on it.. My question is, what pinion would be used..i realize I have to have my tire dia., but they are not turned down yet...What I'd like to do is, get a baseline pinion on, so I can get the speed control, and receiver mounted. Then I can take it to work with me and do the finish soldering....(I am certified to solder/braze up to 3500 psi.) Think ya'll could get me in the ballpark????/ Thanks..Curt Hildebrandt

I would start with about 31t pinion. That will put u close. Then u will have to gear by track size and tire size. The better the traction is on the track, the smaller u want ur tires. I have found this to work best for a high bite surface like we have at Bumps and Jumps. Hope this helps. :checkeredflag:

Went there today, and picked up some stuff....Might even end up putting longer arms on the right side....Gonna dial it in after Christmas..

If you can get me a track size, I can help out.
