Chris this was brought up on the OW Thread and should have been put here but people are wondering if we could have controlled practice between Electric and Nitro during weekly racing.

sure
I am going to let you guys police it though
how about 15 minute intervals
example
10:00 - 10:15 nitro
10:15 - 10:30 electric
10:30 - 10:45 nitro
10:45 - 11:00 electric
How does that sound?

30 minute intervals would be better or you will have the same nitro guys on the track every 15 minutes.

ok lets do this
just like at the tour races blue clips be handed out by someone and max 2 minutes on the track at a time.
it works for the tour it should work at the open wkeel weekend.
oh by the way when I was a Coopers for the Open Wheel this is how Rob ran practice also.
any problems with this there should be.
Just my 2 cents an I'm sticking to it LOL

I like this...last week was my first week and a minute in. a nitro car hit me so hard it cost 25 to fix.I know it could have happened from another electric but...I blame the nitro car...ha

cool that sounds like a really good idea. we just have to police ourselves but im sure everyone will be happier with this. is 11 till 11:15 back to nitro and so on till 12?
i for one feel alot better about this!
as for the clips i dont think that works. i looked for the clip last week and didnt see it. finally i just went on the track with 20 or so cars and i only seen 2 clips being used. so unless policed very well like at the NITRO TOUR races then its kinda tough. just my opinion. ill see everyone in the AM

I don't know.......... I think 20+ cars on the track is FUN!......... 1st you don't have to go out there........ 2nd you can pull off........ 3rd if you really want to learn to drive, this is the place!.......... I understand setup, setup, setup............ but setups are over rated......... the track keeps changing so what worked @ 11:00am isn't worth beans @ 3:00pm never mind @ 10:00pm......... you got to learn to drive what ever you've got, how ever the track is, and if you have a total mess, put it off!......... Patients my friends! When you look around most of the better drivers have been doing this for 20 years...... and have wreaked a 1000 times!!!!.......... Rome wasn't built in a day......... Smile Be Happy:D

I also must thank Jeff for giving up most of his practice, so some of us could enjoy & learn something in our sessions, I can't believe that some racers can't :
1- READ PRACTICE TIME SHEET
2- USE BLUE CLIPS
3- STILL STAND @ & ON PIT ROAD TO PRACTICE
If we could ALL abide by these simple rules, then maybe Jeff wouldn't have had to miss some of his practice, & I know I personally had trouble, not only trying to set my car on the track, because of people practicing there, but also trying to come down pit road ! PLUS, on top of all this I heard a couple racers say F-those blue clips. Time to grow up guys ! It takes a concerted effort by all to make this work ,when you have 100 plus racers trying to get setup for the day.

I also want to thank Jeff
For him to selflessly give up his entire practice time to help make this a better hobby for all of us is something we should all aspire toward.
Thanks again Jeff - I appreciate all your help!
Keith - well said.

I have to agree with Keith also. The clip thing happens all the time, and it's because of a few who don't care. Again thanks Jeff C.
