Custom Works GSX2 - Steering Rack Assembly

King Headz has just release our Steering Rack Assembly for the Custom Works GSX2.


The Steering Rack Slider is CNC machined from black High Density Polyethylene. The Steering Rack Base is CNC machined from 7075 aircraft grade aluminum and Anodized black. The aluminum base helps prevent the screw holes from stripping out of the stock plastic base. This is a direct replacement for part #3304.

Do you have to modify anything to get it to fit in a CW Electric Outlaw. Planned on buying a couple but didn't know if it was a direct fit.

The steering rack bolts on directly in place of the Custom Works Part. No need to modify anything. I have had this rack in my car since King Headz started making them.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have never seen a GSX2 with the body so I wasn't sure how the layout up front looked. Didn't want to have to cut or grind on anything to get it in the car.

I had the other "brand" of steering rack, the one that cost twice as much and I just put yours on and it is even smoother than the factory ones I spent hrs on filing and sanding on to get smooth. thanks so much for solving the stripping problem. by the way my sprint is the gbx2 electric. no mods to unit whatsoever
