Chris, Could you let everyone know what the plans are for the Openwheel race for the track? Such as scraping each day or will it be left alone the whole week. This may help people with setup and what tires to buy. Thanks Steve

Whatever is done to the track it'll go black with so many cars on the track non-stop starting Tuesday. Better leave it alone IMHO.

If the track is completely re-done every night it'll only go black later on ... again, IMHO, better leave it alone so the difference in the track surface form early in the day (when you get a practice run in) versus when you hit the track for your qualifier isn't too aggraving ... ie: Like practicing in the mud then qualifying on a rubber track.

Steve.

Steve.Black is what I like I think what they did for The Freeze is they drug it after each day of practice and racing I could be wrong on that though.

The freeze I only drug it off Thrusday night
the other days I only added water.

I am planning on adding 25 pounds of talcum powder each race day and then coating it with Vaseline.

If your sex life is by yourself like this thread alludes you too it doesn't matter what tires you run!

I am banning tires for the race to make it equal for everyone - you must run plastic rims - maximum tire diameter 2.0"

I have been running BSR 30's. You will want nothing softer than pinks and you might need purples. The track gets real serious hook and with this many cars they're will be some serious traction rolls going on.

And if you can't handle everyone's sex life maybe you can't stand it here.
