Yes it will be in place for next season with a much better system for scheduling and promoting the races that are chosen as point races. More info will come later but for those who are interested the Chili Bowl Jr. will be the first Points race on the schedule for 2010. They will be running Nitro Sprint, Modified Sprint and 13.5 Latemodel (non-spec) Classes. All of the information for the Chili Bowl Jr can be found in this forum:

FYI the February Freeze will likely be the second DODC Points race of the 2010 season.

Thanks Rob for posting the results! It would be very helpful to the DODC community if their was a complete list of events and races that count for points in 2010. This year, it seamed like there is a race this weekend and by the way it will count for DODC points... and not knowing where you are in points it wasn't a priority to make that race or event. Just think by promoting it a little better will result in better turnouts at the tracks and participation in the national points. Overall it was a lot of fun and not bad for the first year of doing it! keep up the good work and thanks to all that where involved in gathering the points and data.
