Congrats Alan, it was fun running with you and Murphy at K&C last month. I'm out of my neck brace now though, so next time I plan to finish within' 5 laps instead of 15!

Solly!I am the one who letters all of Allans cars, and I know for sure that we didnt run the "Solly's Cato Dreamworld" contingency sticker on any of his rides. Therefore he is not eligible for end of season awards from you. Unfortunately it must be passed on to the runner-up!Matt Murphy

dam it and here i was all excited to see solly pay up......LOL. I do all my own lettering or the lack there of, so i know i wasnt running the "Solly's Cato Dreamworld" contingency
sticker. so i am not eligible for that award either. but Thanks for trying to pass it on. maybe Mike was running it???? and if all else fails i know Kerstetter will accept it, just dont explain the award first.......just do it. maybe Hotaling will accept......he is alot closer to Solly, gas prices are going up again so he could save some beer money not traveling as far for his presentation.

Thank you everyone for the congrat's and harrassment!! It is greatly appreciated.

2009 has been the funnest and most exciting for racing experience, life experience and achievements. I've meet so many great people and have gotten a chance to run many different cars and track surfaces.

A huge thanks goes to all those that help and support me:

Shannon McQueen, letting me reschedule engagement photos so I could fly to PA :D
Rob Cutman/Arnie Fie, Custom Works for product/techincal support
Gary Kyes, Losi for the awesome Nitrotane race fuel
Bruce Triplett, RC4Less for the great tires-all scales
David Mayhew, Finish Line Signs for vinyl
Matt 'Murfdogg' Murphy, Murfdogg Motorworks for the fastest motors and R.O. calc's
Visa/Discover, faith I will someday pay all my debts

Special thanks has to go to Matt 'Murfdogg/Showtime' Murphy:

All started by helping me (some stranger) 5 years ago suggesting I just buy a new engine, at a dirtoval.com race, at Racer's Haven in Bakersfield, CA. He was visiting from NC that weekend.
If there was a Crew Chief of the year award, it would go to Murphy for the whole aspect of r/c racing. Basic setups, last second race decisions and integrating this into something he knows I can work with! Thinking outside the BOX. Constant teaching, coaching and vast knowledge suspension and all that is r/c.
Definitely would not have been possible without Matt, thanks!!

Looking forward to making it back to Bumps for the final race of the year, followed closely by the first race of the year at Tulsa!!

Hope to see you there.

Hey Allan, congratulations on a super championship. The writeup & picture on the DODC launch page is great. I normally don't go to this site that way but with a new iMac my bookmarks are still scrambled. Glad I saw that. Thanks for your support and professionalism.
