Could you post some directions online for how to get there from Maryville. If I can I will try to make it on Sunday. I've never raced carpet do I need to have foam tires. If so can I buy them at the Albian track. Thanks Charlie

Carpet? Albion is all dirt and I'm sure you can run most any tire.....on the oval, I'm sure the sprints will use foams but most all others will be rubber tires.....CW Street Tracs and Losi Taper pins.

charlie, the mdms are going to run the same tires we run at maryville...then the 13.5 lm's are running the street track tires, and i think the sprints are running whichever kind u wanna run

Make him sell them to you shawn!:D

The best way for anyone around the Maryville area to get there is to take interstate 64 east to Mt. Vernon which should be exit 95 then take highway 15 east all the way to Albion once you go all the way through town you will come to a 3 way stop by a Ford dealership make a left there and go about 5 miles outside of town and you will see a fenced in area on both sides of the road that is an old junkyard make a right right past the junk yard and then take that road about a mile or mile n a half to the top of a little hill, and the race track is on the right. There are two red buildings and the track is in the back one. Hope to see some of you guys there sunday

What you gonna run chuckle head? Your sprint isn't set up for foams,(yet?), your MDM is now an offroad car again...I'm just sayin', if you can crap a car to go race there, crap a couple of them cause I'd like to check it out too!

Track looks alot different from when i was last there. Prolly 1994. The pipe wasnt there. there was broom bristles for a barrier. Really cool.

We are still running offroad on the weekends we arent running oval.

So we have to use pipe. Otherwise we would use the bristles. Still have a bunch in a boz at the track.

Track is awesome. Ran a 6.99 with a MDM with just a 10.5 in it.

First race is this Sunday the 8th. Track opens at 8, racing at 11.

Hope to see some guys come and check it out.

If you have any questions, pm me or call 618-936-2969

I would like to say Thank You to Tim W. for letting me get some practice in Sunday. Turn out was a bust guess with the big race in Pa. and with the holidays around the corner may have contribued to that. This track will or could be the way it was back in the day. Again Thanks.
