New Red is a very nice track and facility. I really enjoyed racing there a few years back. The intention has always been to move the race to different locations but finding a facility capable of dealing with the size of the event lately has been the difficult part. My memory is that it would be difficult to house 200 actual racers there. Not sure if anything has changed but I know we were pitting outside under roof when we were there which was fine in July, might be a little chilly in December though. This is the first year we have had the race at Bumps and Jumps and after 7 years of putting on great races Chris is certainly deserving of a chance to host this event. Im sure New Red would do a great job as well, maybe that could be an option down the road.

no problem just thought i would put a bug in someones ear i donthink 200 people would be a problem we do around 120 people at the state races with ease there is plenty of parking and alot of room for pitting outside of the covered pits and the track personal are top notch people not taking anything from anyone else i know every racer and track owner are deticated and passionate about racing and the track you guys choose are obviuosly choosen for a reason but you shouldnt let newred go without notice because it is truly one of the top tracks and facility in the country and i would like to see it in my backyard:D:checkeredflag:
