right round when gianni sold company.. not sure if he had it in plans when he sold or if Randy came up with new design. But in that time frame.I actually used a version of it before the new design. Used a drum and a metal strap with a fabric on it. Cant remember name of who made them though.

Yea I had one of the first cars from Randy and Pete, and it had the new design. I figured that was something Gianni had been doing before they bought the company.

I know those are MTX 2 axle carriers, but are they MTX 2 arms? And are they length of them different? I know the MTX 3 arms are shorter then the MTX 4, but the MTX 3 carrier is wider then the MTX 4.

Arm and carriers looks like the 2's. The 3and4 arms where swep front with mounting on top for camber link. Now if its really old will have the bearing spacers in hubs for carrying the 3/16th axles.

Everything can be updated without no mods to chassis. I know I ran same plate for 3yrs.

That is very true. The avid revolutions seem to hold up better then the stock ones. When I got the car I ran this summer, I replaced all the bearings in it with avids, and didn't have a single on go bad.
