There have been numerous people concerned about the entry procedure for this years race. In previous years I took the info by phone or mail in entries which proved to be a very time consuming task. In hopes of minimizing the amount of time required to deal with this procedure we are utilizing www.rcsignup.com (http://www.rcsignup.com) this year to help streamline the process. Obviously we anticipate a large number of entries this year and with limited pit spaces inside many are conerened they may not be able to get in if they do not or can not enter on rcsignup.com. In hopes of giving everyone a fair chance at getting in the race this year we will implement the following procedure.
rcsignup.com entries will start being taken this sunday Oct 4th at 12:15 am. We will limit the rcsignup entries to 170 total entries. Chris will than begin taking the remaining entries on Monday Oct 5th at 9am via phone and any mailed in entries. We believe this is a fair way to handle the entries and will help ensure everyone gets a chance to enter regarless of their situation.
When entering either online or by phone be sure to have all of your info available for ALL of the classes you plan to run including frequencies, transponder numbers, T-shirt Size and payment information. You will also need to incdicate if you are pitting in your own trailer or if you will need a pit spot. The only limiting factor at this point will be number of pit spots available inside. Once all of the pit spots are taken we will still take entries as long as you are planning to pit in a trailer.
Thanks,
Rob Cutman
