would be nice to see this answered by somone who runs well at bumps. Setup and rollout for the 2 most popular cars like the CW SE and the int GBX for 13.5 dodc would be nice. A 13.5 sprint setup would also be helpful since many of us will be coming for the usowc

I would love to help you....but I don't run one of those popular cars:(

I run one of those less popular Terminator based cars. You know, the ones that have all but dominated the A mains of last years OW, Freeze, WDRA Series, PA Tour.

I am just messing with you!!!

LOL, RJ thats funny! I run a Putnam Pro car so set up would be different. Silvers/Pinks seem to be a popular tire and with a 2.4 trans a 2.0 - 2.10 roll out seems to work.

I would be interested in this as well.....Use your pan car gearing on it!!!!!!!!!!!!! or your 13.5 touring ratio and cut it in half.:D

Guys I am looking for the basic infomation so i can pass it on.

basic set up, roll out etc.You might want to ask for a certain speedo and what settings they use because the esc type and settings will play a large part in your overall gearing more than anything else.

Mr. Daddy is correct. Steve Salvas has posted his Tekin settings on here as well as his baseline settings for Bumps. You might want to look at CW's website to see if he has a set-up sheet posted from last years Freeze.

Yeppers...pretty close to what I have run. Played w/ double pinks on occasion as well.

I run the less popular Venom ESC.

I run the less popular Venom ESC.Is it the green one that is identical to the Speed Passion? If so use a lower timing setup on the esc like around 5 to 10 max to start with. Then you could use a setup similiar to the Tekin guys and add more timing after you get a run in and check the temp of you motor.

I also use the unpopular terminator type car as described by rj. I run the same 2.0 to 2.10 RO but a different tire, BSR 30.

It is the green one! I've been running the timing set to 8, the motor wasn't real hot (140), It ran ok in the main for the few laps I got in (snapped an axle).

Steve BI would leave that timing and add a tooth. You can add timing and leave the gearing as well but the more timing you add the less torque and more heat you create. If you where at 140 at Bumps this weekend with the traction that high you are in a good area gearing wise. I some overheated the motor when the traction came up since they where able to stay on the throttle alot longer.

Its up to you whether you try a little more timing or go up 1 to 2 teeth on the pinion. I think I would try gearing first and see how it goes. Timing will give more topend but loose a little snap out of the corners so try the gearing first.

I'll give that a try. I went to a smaller tires (2.42) to get more torque. I did run a motor pretty hot in the 2nd heat but that motor I over heated a few times before, didn't want to keep abusing my newer motors.

Thanks,
Steve

What do you want to know? I have two Se cars both work well one is an edm and one is a latemodel and have two completely different set ups. what brand esc, what brand tires, what body, and what class?

Your car was just too stuck to the track when the traction was that high. Alos different than when the track turns black vs the traction when it was like this week.

Where would the Tekin base settings be located?

Anywhere from 2" - 2 3/4", depends on body style + driver likes.

Start with the max, you can always take away, but it's harder to add spoiler....lol

On the 9001 Camaro you need as much spoiler as you can get, 2 3/4" and fairly straight up. I ran the FW Rocket tunneled with a 2" spoiler and it drove very well.
