Sunday Sept 6 is the day.The fair will be there last year was good time and good food.Great time to bring the family.We will give back 50% of the money made after the fair entree in the classes.That is 3.00 to go to Port.

Jeff H is coming Sunday he might be the car to beat in edm he was the fastest car at the tour.He broke the track record by 6 laps from a 39 to a 45 wow i love to watch him race.:thumbsup: Fast lap was a 5.02

i really wish i could make it up sunday, but i have wedding to attend. to all concerned, the track will be in great shape i'm sure. the surface was prepared by del for the pa nitro tour as i was at work for the 4 day's prior[it rained on the first 2 off them]. the main thing me and the other part time help were able to accomplish was to get the high and low spots out of the track. if we would of had another day or two it would of been even better. so you can be assured that the track will be in equal or better shape than it was for the tour.:thumbsup:

someone PLEASE explain to me why all you people want a baby ass smooth track to race on? I feel bad for you guys that are afraid of some bumps or a rut or 2, That is what gives a track character and makes it fun,
Why do we have shocks and springs and different shock oils ?
Before i got into rc 25 yrs ago, i use to travel and go to real races all over the country, well over 100 per year i do not recall any races being cancelled because the track was too rough,
Just remember, anyone can run on a tacky smooth track, that just makes a dart more dangerous, now he becomes a dart without feathers,

Hey Nick, I was at the Giant at the Cressona mall today and your post reminded me of one of the handfull of races I came up there for. Mike Hurrel and Scott brought me up and I remember it poured all morning but everyone wanted the races to go on. The owner spread some kitty little down but the track was still muddy all night and it was cool because there was a real cushion on the track and it was all about getting the car to turn and slide without heading for the outside wall. Still the most fun I ever had at a race and funny to watch the guys go tot he stream to wash the mud off theor edm bodies...

no reason it shouldnt still be there, the area that they paved is never used for anything, it doesnt even have lines. it would still be 100 yards from the store, even where it expanded to. shame really.....

I do have a power converter for my truck I can use but i don't want to use it if I don't have too as it will drain my battery. Chances are good of me being there to run my truck. I don't have anything planned for the day. My truck was strong last time and should be again, and this time, I should have some sleep before coming up.

Thanks guys I busted my but on that track everyweek.We ran two nights a week. We used kitty litter on more then one occasion. But did whatever it took to try to race. Elmer(the owner) appreciated everyone that came to race and wanted to make sure we did what we could to get the races in.

What a day ! 95 entries. That's awesome ! Track was in nice shape for a great day of racing. Good job Del & crew. I also wanna thank everyone in the 13.5 A main for not taking me out :rolleyes:. It was an interesting main to say the least :D.

My thanks also go out to Heather & Dan for letting me pit in there trailer, Todd Putnam for all the help & support, Lauden for setting up the new RS Tekin & last but not least, Brian Bowie for the Boosier Tires that led me to victory lane.

I would like to take a min. to thank everyone it was a blast.I would like to thank Billy Albright for calling the show he did a great job and i loved his dog [Roughty] great puppy.Thanks to his girl friend for all the help. Would like to thank Bms,Rc4less,and Lee from tornado for the fuel for the door prizes.Thanks to Mike W,Nick D for teching.Luke and Henry for having the parts trailer,(The Hidden Hanger).My wife for helping after being up for 36 hours.This was a good show and with everyones help even the ones that helped me Sweep the track this helped so much.Can't wait tell next year.

I had a good time since my car was better than Memorial day weekend. I don't think my car tuning skills are quite ready for the conditions that the track gave everyone. I'm just not used to what to me felt like a slick and dusty track.......BUT HEY I'm on a learning curve here. I think it's called Everest :rolleyes:
